New music (at least to me)

Brandon's friend's brother is in a band out of Portland, and they are amazing. I have been truly impressed so far, and you can help by checking out their site and possibly purchasing some of their music. I would highly recommend it, here is the site:

It's like Christmas...again, and again!

So now that I am finally unpacking my boxes and getting moved into my home in Eugene, I am finding some unbelievable stuff. Boxes that hadn't been opened in over 2 years are filling my house with, well, junk. However, there are some other boxes that have treasure in them because they are filled with belongings that I forgot that I owned. And the cds! I hadn't opened some boxes filled with cds because I anticipated moving again, so each of those boxes has truly been a joy. I felt like Ralphie from "The Christmas Story," but only when he opens the Red Rider BB gun and not the pink bunny suit nightmare.

So I will soon be getting full internet access and television so I can add more posts to the blog (talking about the holidays and posting pictures of my handsome nephews), but in the meantime I will leave you with this:

Greetings! Enjoy these pictures from Oregon and beyond. Did you see me at the Tillamook Cheese Factory? A little slice of heaven...

Wait, not all these pictures are from Oregon!

The Rainbow

My heart leaps up
when I behold
a rainbow in the sky.

So was it when
my life began?
So is it now
I am a man?
So be it when I shall grow old
or let me die!

The child is father of the man
and I could wish my days to be
bound each to each
by natural piety.
